Discussing Cause 1

There are many reasons that influence me to choose English as my major.  To begin with, my father who likes English very much inspired my interest in English as I was little.  In my childhood, my father sometimes talked with me in English; moreover he paid money for foreign teacher in order to give me more opportunities to practice English fluently.  Therefore now I want to learn more in English.  Additionally, I hope I can be a great English teacher in the future.  For the purpose of meeting my expectation, I choose English as my major to master in English.  Last but not the least, speaking English has become a mainstream in the society nowadays.  If I master in English, then when I get into trouble in other countries, I can express my thought in English to local people and foreigners with more details and more clearly so that they can help me deal with my problems.  As what mentioned above are what impact me on choosing English as my major.
