Where there is a will, there is a way.-revised1

I was a hardworking athlete and once won a championship in a race, but everything changed owing to a terrible accident, which occurred on my way home after the race. I was hit by a truck and passed out immediately on account of shedding too much blood. Although I was sent to the hospital at once, I lost my consciousness for at least one month. After I came to myself, I had negative attitude toward my life, trying to kill myself. One day, however, while I was fooling around in a wheel chair in the hospital, there was an elder man, who lost one of his legs, tried his best to walk with a stick. Although he fell down again and again, he never gave up. A thought suddenly came to my mind that I should practice walking instead of keeping feeling depressed day after day, and then I made up my mind to take part in the race five years later. Finally, my efforts paid back and I won a championship again. As the proverb goes, “Where there is a will, there is a way.” If I tried, there must be some opportunities for me to succeed.
